3) Eleanor of Aquitaine and Henry II make cameo appearances.
4) It does play upon classic romance conventions. But I hope it adds a twist to them…
5) BTW, in case you’re wondering, it is the story of an arranged marriage (And if I were to pick a favorite romance trope, arranged marriage would definitely be it).
